MORE THAN just travel or an ordinary elopement…

Iceland is a wild island with varying landscapes unseen anywhere else in the world.

The island of Iceland has a wild and exotic landscape similar in some ways to Canada, my home base, and yet so different! In Iceland you will find mountains and waterfalls just like in the Canadian Rockies or the American Rocky Mountains, but there’s so much more! I LOVE to travel and I want to experience this island with an incredible couple to tell their love story; ask my hubby I would just drive him nuts if I went without a couple to shoot!! LOL

*black sand beaches
*blue hot spring lagoons
*Icelandic ponies
*wild geography unlike anywhere in the world
*the ocean
*active volcanoes
*glacial lakes (with actual chunks of glaciers floating in them – see Jökulsárlón below)
*PUFFINS (they are adorable birds)
*Whales

I have seen so much imagery and I so badly want to capture your love story in this beautiful, magical, jaw-dropping landscape! From what I am told and all my hours of research have shown me is that Iceland Elopements are for the *truly* adventurous and those seeking raw, untamed beauty!

Summer & Autumn offer the best of Iceland if you are planning to visit although Winter might just be your cup of tea if you are into cold outdoor activities.

In summer there is no snow, the sun stays up until midnight due to the island's far north location, but it will be busier at popular locations such as the Blue Lagoon as summer is Iceland's high tourism season.

Spring and Autumn offer mild temps, little to no snow, northern lights appearances, less tourists, and spring is prime whale watching season.

Winter of course brings a high probably of seeing the aurora borealis, magical dips in one of the many hot springs in falling snow or visiting a glacier, maybe even a frozen waterfall.

REYKJAVIK - the capital and largest city in Iceland and the city you will fly into. You can choose AirBnbs, hotels, or bed & breakfasts to stay at as well as easily rent a car here for your travels, as I highly recommend you do, to see all there is to see in Iceland.

KIRKJUBÆJARKLAUSTUR - this is the town that became famous for Reynisfjara Beach (black sand beach) and is close to some glaciers as well. It's 2 hours from Reykjavik and you can find AirBnb accommodations there

AKUREYRI - a northern Iceland town based at the foot of the snowy mountains. This is a less explored area of Iceland so if you want cool sights and less people you may want to trek here on your adventure elopement in Iceland.

"Kelly effortlessly put us at ease and helped us feel excited for our incredible day. No other person who had taken my photo has ever made me feel so confident and comfortable. This allowed us to have some incredible moments that felt like it was just the two of us which made for some amazing photos. I'm also not sure how many photographers out there would be willing to brave waist-deep snow to get some incredible shots, but she sure did!
She helped us solve some vendor issues, and get everything everything organized and scheduled. She truly went above and beyond, taking on the role of a "Day Of Coordinator" in addition to being the photographer. I cannot recommend Kelly enough, as we would 10/10 hire her again.
