I’ve spent years photographing elopements and intimate weddings for people who care less about perfection and more about how their day actually feels.
Beautiful photos matter — but what matters more is that your images bring you right back to the emotions, the energy, the quiet in-between moments, and the sense of this is us.
That’s why I’ve intentionally shaped an adventure elopement and couples photography experience across Alberta and British Columbia that’s grounded in authenticity, flexibility, and presence — not rigid plans or performative timelines.
I help with location guidance, realistic timing, and the logistics that actually matter, while leaving space for things to unfold naturally. I’m not here to control your day or turn it into a production. I’m here to steady it, adapt when needed, and document it honestly.
Pete is part of the day as well. He’s my partner in life and my second shooter, and having him there means we can move more easily, cover things more smoothly, and keep the overall flow calm — especially on adventure-heavy or multi-location elopements.
In short, I bring calm to what can otherwise feel chaotic, so the wildest part of your elopement can be the view — not the planning.
HOW I WORK...
My approach is shaped by experience — not a one-size-fits-all formula.
Elopements and adventure weddings don’t always follow a script, and I don’t believe they should. Weather shifts. Access changes. Energy fluctuates. The best days are the ones that can adapt without stress.
I’m not a full wedding planner, and I’m not a year-in-advance, to-the-minute type of photographer — intentionally. Instead, I focus on creating a solid framework that leaves room for flexibility, movement, and real moments to happen.
This approach works best for couples who trust the process and value experience over control.

Not every adventure needs to look the same — and that’s kind of the point.
Some experiences are about movement and landscape. Others are quieter, more personal, or rooted in connection. What matters most is choosing something that actually fits where you are right now.
Below are the core ways people choose to work with me. Each one is experience-led, intentional, and approached with care.
This experience is right for you if:
- you’re exchanging vows or planning a legally binding ceremony
- you want a day that flows instead of follows a rigid schedule
- you’re open to adapting plans around weather, access, or conditions
- you want support with locations, timing, and the overall rhythm of the day
Adventure elopements often include multiple locations, time to explore, and space to slow down and actually be present. This is a full experience — not a photoshoot — and it’s approached that way from start to finish.
They’re designed for engagements, anniversaries, or just because — for couples who want to get outside together and document a season they’re in, without the structure or pressure of a wedding day.
This experience is a great fit if:
- you’re celebrating an engagement or anniversary
- you want photos that feel natural, not posed
- you’d rather move, explore, or do something together than stand still
- you’re drawn to wild places but don’t need a full-day commitment
These sessions are relaxed and experience-led, with gentle guidance and plenty of space for things to unfold naturally.

For couples who feel drawn to it, there’s an optional upgrade to include my horses in your session. You don’t need to own or have experience with horses — this option is approached calmly, respectfully, and always with the animals’ wellbeing first.
For those who feel called to it, there’s also an optional upgrade to include my horses, adding a grounded, symbolic element to the session. No experience needed — just openness.
These sessions are intentionally slow and grounded, allowing space for connection, trust, and presence. I photograph horse-and-human relationships with respect for both, working with what’s there rather than forcing moments.
Equine sessions are a good fit if:
- your horse is a meaningful part of your life or story
- you value authenticity over perfection
- you want imagery that feels honest, emotional, and timeless
This includes horse & rider sessions, at-liberty work, and fine art equine portraits.
My approach to maternity is more intimate and body-forward, focusing on connection, presence, and honoring this season in a way that feels honest and unapologetic. Think bare skin, movement, texture, and images that feel sensual without being staged.
A curated client closet is available, with pieces designed to be belly-baring, expressive, and a little bold, so you don’t have to overthink what to wear or try to fit yourself into a look that doesn’t feel like you.
Maternity sessions are a good fit if:
- you’re drawn to a more boudoir-inspired, editorial feel
- you want imagery that celebrates your body, not hides it
- you prefer a relaxed pace with gentle guidance
- you want photos that feel real, embodied, and powerful
investment
Most people I work with are planning something intentional and experience-led, and that’s reflected in how coverage is structured.
Starting investment:
- Adventure elopements begin at $4500CAD
- Couples adventure sessions begin at $799CAD
- Equine sessions begin at $595CAD
- Maternity sessions begin at $499CAD
This gives you a realistic sense of whether we’re aligned before you reach out — no awkward surprises on either side.

THE EXPERIENCE
Working together is intentionally simple.
You reach out. We talk. We figure out what fits. From there, I’ll guide you through what matters — locations, timing, and logistics — while keeping things flexible enough to adapt if conditions change.
I don’t follow a rigid, step-by-step formula, and I don’t overload you with planning tasks. The goal is to create a solid framework that allows your day or session to unfold naturally, without stress or over-production.
Support is there when you need it. Space is there when you don’t.
